A medical and religious convoy from New Valley University to the villages of Baghdad, Jormshin, Aden and Jeddah in Paris

Under the patronage of Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of New Valley University, and the supervision of Professor Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the University, and the supervision of Professor Mahmoud Dhikra, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Professor Mohamed Khalaf, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the University's Environmental Service and Community Development Sector, in coordination and cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Arts, organized a medical and religious convoy in the villages of Baghdad, Jormshin, Aden, and Jeddah to examine the residents of these villages. This convoy is part of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Human Development." The convoy was attended by a number of faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine, specializing in various specialties, in cooperation with the Presidency of the Paris Center and City, and village heads, headed by Professor Abdel Nasser Mohamed Saleh, Mayor of Paris.

The university's Community Service and Environmental Development Supervisor stated that the convoy began with a seminar on the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, presented by Dr. Eid Fayed Hassan, a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Arts. He added that the convoy is part of the university's plan to celebrate Ramadan nights in the centers, villages, and cities of the New Valley. The general supervisor of the university's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector also confirmed that the medical convoy examined 214 cases in the specialties of obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, ophthalmology, neurology, pediatrics, chest medicine, orthopedics, and ear, nose, and throat. Meanwhile, residents of the villages of Baghdad, Jormshin, Aden, and Jeddah expressed their happiness with the university's participation in the free medical convoys, which were provided by professors from the Faculty of Medicine at New Valley University, wishing them continued success in serving the New Valley community.
