New Valley University receives a delegation from the National Center for Social and Criminological Research.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of New Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service Sector, and in the presence of Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research, and in the presence of a number of deans and vice deans of faculties, faculty members, support staff, administrative staff, and students, the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a scientific symposium in the conference hall of the Faculty of Medicine, in coordination and cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminological Research. During the symposium, the results of a study on community efforts and the demographic conditions of New Valley Governorate were presented. In his speech, delivered on behalf of Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of the University, Professor Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, welcomed the university's guests, Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research, and her accompanying delegation. He thanked the members of the center, which aims to advance scientific research addressing social issues related to all aspects of society, address the problems facing Egyptian society, and contribute to the process of formulating these policies on a scientific basis. In her speech, Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research, thanked New Valley University for its contributions to community service and environmental development. She also outlined the center's objectives, which include conducting and supervising research and studies, organizing training courses, publishing and exchanging scientific research and data with other academic bodies, and expressing opinions on draft laws related to social and criminal issues. Professor Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, stated that Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of the University, and Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the University and the Center. The protocol aims to exchange scientific and research expertise and collaborate in setting goals and solutions for environmental, economic, social, and cultural problems. The protocol also provides training opportunities for researchers and students from the University at the National Center and to participate in research and studies sponsored by the Center at the national level. The Center dispatches specialized trainers in all fields to train researchers and students at the University, raise awareness in all disciplines, and participate in resolving issues related to the local community. It also conducts necessary development studies in the fields of water, soil, air, transportation, investment, health, and community issues such as divorce and people with disabilities. Professor Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the University, stated that the delegation toured the University's facilities, including the Vertebrate Paleontology Center, the Faculty of Human Medicine, and the headquarters of the New Valley Private University. The delegation praised the achievements of New Valley University during this short period, extending their thanks to the university administration, led by Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of the University, and the supporting staff. In conclusion, Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of the University, presented Professor Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research, with the university shield in appreciation of her efforts.
