Under the direction of Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of New Valley University, and under the supervision of Professor Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, New Valley University welcomed students from the Official International School in Kharga. A tour was organized for the students and faculty of the school under the supervision of Dr. Sami Fadl, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in the New Valley, and coordinated by Ms. Amal Abdel Morid, Director of the Political Communication Department at the Directorate, and accompanied by Professor Mohamed Saeed Al-Yamani, Director of the School Administration. Professor Mustafa Mahmoud, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the University, stated that the visit of the international school students and faculty included a visit to the various university sites and an introduction to the faculties and university facilities at the new university campus at Kilometer 10. They also visited the Faculty of Medicine, where they were introduced to the faculty's laboratories. Faculty members provided a brief overview of the faculty's departments, laboratories, and diseases. The visit concluded with a tour of the university's Vertebrate Paleontology Center, which houses a rare collection of extinct reptiles and marine creatures that lived thousands of years ago. Commemorative photos were also taken with professors and students from the university's faculties.
